July 10 Arrive at Bard for pre‐departure workshop

July 10‐11 Pre‐departure workshop at Bard

July 12 Travel to Johannesburg on group flight

July 13 Arrive in Johannesburg

July 14 Orientation at Wits for international students

July 15 Trip to Soweto

July 16 – 21 Community Human Rights Workshop

July 22 IHRE academic orientation & registration for classes

July 25 Third block classes

July 28 IHRE internship orientation & internships begin

September 10‐18 Break (no classes or internships)

September 19 Fourth block classes begin; internships resume

October 26 End of classes; internships conclude

October 27 – November 23 Examination period

November 23 Travel to New York on group flight

November 24 Arrive JFK
